Hygrophoropsidaceae is a family of mushrooms that are gilled in appearance but lie with in the Boletales. Its genera include Austropaxillus, Tapinella and Hygrophoropsis, with the best known members being the False Chanterelle (Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca) and the tree-growing Tapinella panuoides, formerly of the genus Paxillus.
