[edit] Holy Trinity Church, Adelaide

Hello, your article is good, but I still believe it is of start class. I will take it off the assessment list, but if you would like expand it with you. Thanks Harrison-HB4026 03:11, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Hello Hydeckar - I'd like to be a lot more helpful to you if you might let me. I undertake 1000's of assessments and, well, I can only be candid and say that I disagree partially with regards the above comment. By partially I mean that the Holy Trinity Church, Adelaide article is as Harrison says still a start article but it is very close to being at least a B grade. There needs to be a little bit of adjustment to the language to make it slightly more NPOV encyclopedic (just read it aloud to yourself and you will probably see what I mean), also there are two spam links in the last sentence in the top paragraph (and these are big problems which need to be removed very quickly as such links go against policy) ...Holy Trinity has planted two daughter churches: Trinity Hills, in the Adelaide Hills and Trinity Bay, in the Adelaide sea-side suburb of Hove , and finally the [citations needed] tag in the lead sentence needs an inline reference. Once that is done please let me know on my talk page and I will reassess - most probably to the next grade. Best wishes--VS talk 13:32, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Bible College of South Australia

A tag has been placed on Bible College of South Australia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

No assertion of notability, A7

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Garrie 05:42, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP Christianity

Hi, I saw your name on the WikiProject Christianity Membership page.

I've made some changes to the WP Christianity main project page, added several sup-project pages, created a few task forces section, and proposed several more possible changes so that we can really start making some serious progress on the project. Please stop by and see my comments on the project talk page here and consider joining a task force or helping out with improving and contributing to our sub-projects. Thanks for your time! Hey Hy, I am writing you to let you know that the Mathematics Collaboration of the week(soon to "of the month") is getting an overhaul of sorts and I would encourage you to participate in whatever way you can, i.e. nominate an article, contribute to an article, or sign up to be part of the project. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks--Cronholm144 21:40, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Business & Economics article on Andrew Saul

Just a heads up that Andrew Saul (ex-CEO of Cache and Brooks Bros.) has been nominated for featured article status here. Any input, comment and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, there is not that much info on him as it relates to his business career, and being an !expert, I'm not quite sure how well I can flesh it out. Please feel free to comment and/or improve the article. Thanks! MrPrada 21:18, 25 August 2007 (UTC) http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?

[edit] normal distribution

I'm afraid [title=Multivariate_normal_distribution&diff=next&oldid=158442963 this edit] is an error. If X is normally distributed and Y = −X, then X + Y is equal to 0 with probability 1, and therefore is normally distributed with expected value 0 and variance 0. It would be unfortunate if it were really a counterexample, since that would mean a linear transformation of a Gaussian random vector might in some cases fail to be Gaussian. [edit] Parameter identification problem

Hello Hydeckar,

Unaware of your list of articles that you hope to contribute to/write soon, I rewrote the Parameter identification problem considerably. I think it is now sufficiently clear, so you may remove it from you list.

[edit] Richard J. Elliott -> Robert J. Elliott

Howdy, I noticed you moved Richard J. Elliott to Robert J. Elliott. This looks correct. I didn't see anything to indicate he was also known as Richard J. Elliott. Do you think this was just a typo by the original creator (who also linked to Robert J. Elliott's homepage)? I checked mathscinet, and there is no record of a Richard J. Elliott.

If you think this is just a typo, you or I can nominate the Richard J. Elliott for deletion (it is currently just a redirect). You can edit it and replace the entire contents with {{db-blanked}} indicating that the only author (you) of this redirect page does not think it should stay around.

I already took care of the only article linking to the wrong name, so I think it should be safe to delete it. If you don't want to mess with it, I'll add a {{db-redirtypo}} to request deletion because it is redirect to cover an implausible typo. JackSchmidt (talk) 14:58, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

>> All the details on that page are about Robert, so I presume it was just a typo... HyDeckar (talk) 23:12, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
