Talk:Hyderabad District (Pakistan)

[edit] "Urbanised" = "Advanced"?
At present, the article states:
- According to the 1998 census of Pakistan. it had a population of 4,339,445 of which 50.07% were urban[1]. It is thus the second-most advanced district in Sindh.
Read as stated, this seems to indicate that the district is "advanced" because it has a high percent urban population. (Of course, formally it also could mean that it is advanced because it has a low urbanisation percent; but I find that rather unlikely to be intended.) Now, not everybody agrees that a higher percentage of city-dwellers in a district automatically indicates that it is more "advanced".
Hence, I propose that "second-most advanced" is replaced by "second-most urbanised", if indeed this is what is intended. If there are some other criteria used, then add these, and remove "thus".--JoergenB (talk) 20:39, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Rather than there being a one-liner Hyderabad Division page, I have redirected the page to fall onto this page. Please comment if you disagree. - Arun Reginald (talk) 13:30, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
