Hydrophobia is an upcoming survival-adventure video game developed and published by Blade Interactive and will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. It features the HydroEngine developed by Blade Interactive which provides real fluid dynamics technology for flowing water for the first time in games. Hydrophobia is also created using Blade's InfiniteWorldsGCS system.[1][2]A release date has yet to be announced.

Kate Wilde, the protagonist, is a systems engineer, who becomes a reluctant hero when terrorists attack and take over a futuristic city-sized cruise liner, called the Queen of the World.[3] She is aquaphobic and has been since the age of 13.[4] On board the Queen, she serves as part of the security detail.[5] She eventually has to confront her fears aboard the Queen in order to stop the terrorist attack.[6] The terrorist attack takes place on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Queen of the World, and it's up to Kate to stop them.
