Talk:Hybridism
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello! I stumbled over this sentence and I really doubt that it's true: "Crosses have been made between the common rabbit (Lepus cuniculus) and the guinea-pig (Cavia cobaya), and examples of the results have been exhibited in the Zoological Gardens of Sydney, New South Wales." But rabbits aren't even rodents, right? So how would such crossbreeding be possible?! Are there any experts out there? We are getting in quite a big argument here.
