[edit] Vietnamese Wikipedia
Hi, are you aware of the Vietnamese Wikipedia? It's growing and now has almost 5000 articles, but it can always use some help from Vietnamese speakers like yourself. DHN 12:18, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Exodus
I think most of the people who left Vietnam are as a result of the (imminent or recent) communist victory, not because of the war itself. Of course there are people who left it before, but to say that "emigration occurred during and after the war" misrepresents the cause of why they're leaving. DHN 18:24, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hanoi
Hanoi was never named "Dai Nam". "Dai Nam" was the name of the country during much of the Nguyen Dynasty. DHN 08:25, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- I just changed my email settings to allow people to send me emails. You should be able to send me emails using the "email this user" link on my user page. DHN 14:48, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Vietnam FA 2006.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Vietnam FA 2006.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
