Hvat

Hvat is a historical unit of measure that was common in Croatia. It has length equal to 1.896484 metres or 6 stopas (stopa is a historical unit similar to foot). Square hvat are "četvorni hvat" and cubic hvat are called "kubični hvat" (or colloquial: "kubik") . Kubični hvat is still sometimes used when measuring volume of firewood.
