[edit] History
A total of three station buildings have been at Hvalstad. The station was opened as part of the original Drammensbanen on October 7, 1872. When the large wooden viaduct over Hvalstaddalen was removed in 1915 a new station was built along with the new right-of-way. This second station had Jens Flor as architect. The current station dates to the construction of double track in 1962 and has J. Kristiansen as architect. It was renovated in 1988.
