Huzefa Lotia born on 14th January 1984, is the son of Masuma and Zahid Lotia. His grandparents are Amena and Gulamabbas Lotia and Fizza and Fakhruddin Loliwalla.
He completed his O-Levels at Beaconhouse Public School (Defence Campus) in Karachi, Pakistan. He did well here securing 6 A's. He studied physics, chemistry, mathematics, additional mathematics, accounting, urdu, english, Islamiyat and Pakistan studies (the A's were in the first 6, he was as shocked as you might be, when he didnt receive one in English).
He then went on to complete his A-Levels from The Lyceum School in Karachi, Pakistan. He studied physics, mathematics, sociology, english and drama and theatre. As luck were to have it, he didn't fare too well in his A-Level exams (again people were shocked). What did luck have to do with it? Believe it or not, the bad grades are what eventually got him to Canada. Thats another story though.
After this, he proceeded to the University of Toronto (St. George Campus) in Toronto, Canada. At the University of Toronto, he was enrolled in a Honours BSc. program with Majors in Commerce and Computer Science. Within the Commerce program he was mainly interested in Marketing. In particular he was intrigued but market research and marketing management cases. Within the Computer Science domain, his interests were towards the design of technology, which included human-computer interaction (HCI). He also enjoyed his course titled the business of software, where he worked with a team of graduate computational linguists on a business plan to market a natural language based email processing system.
Much more to say, but perhaps another time.
