[edit] About the speedy deletion
Hux Records is the label of a Tír na nÓg album, Spotlight. I indicated the name of the label on the album's article and I created the Hux Records article to give information about this label. There is no publicity and there is some article in the same cases like Voiceprint Records which is a label of different albums described in wikipedia too. So, the Hux Records article don't meet the Wikipedia criteria for speedy deletion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vegetable man38 (talk • contribs) 22:10, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] About the speedy deletion 2
I don't understand why the article is a candidate for speedy deletion this time! In this case, all the articles about label must be deleted! Please watch the Chrysalis Records article for example, I indicated all the band labelled by Hux Records now, the articles are built in the same way and they show what is the label of Hundreds of albums. The content about label's story is still poor but it will evolve. --Vegetable man38 (talk) 00:39, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- As Wisdom89 advised, the burden is on you when you assert that this label is notable enough to deserve its own article! Follow the links you've already been provided. (And WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS is never a valid argument for the retention of an article which fails to meet our standards; you can always nominate articles you feel don't meet them, just as I could, or any other editor.) --Orange Mike | Talk 00:45, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Couple of external references added, label is referred to by a BBC reviewer, and is as notable as, say, Strange Fruit, also known for BBC/Peel session re-releases. More sources being sought but I may need to go to the library for this one. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 18:06, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
