Husky (born June 15, 1983) is a 23-year old Master of Arts from The Netherlands. Husky's real name is Hay Kranen (pronounced like 'Hi'), but because this may lead to confusion among English speakers he calls himself Husky on the internet. Husky is active as a moderator on the Dutch Wikipedia under the same name. He is also a member of the Dutch chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation and has made contributions to Wikimedia Commons.

Husky was born on June 15, 1983 in the town of Nijmegen, in the Netherlands. After primary and high school he went to study Design & Technology on the Utrecht School of the Arts. He got his master's degree at the same school with the EMMA programme, which is a course in Media Arts and technology. His final project was a video DVD about the friendship between Dutch painters Piet Mondriaan and Theo van Doesburg. He is currently working as an interface designer and visual designer at a Dutch company located in Hilversum that produces software for set-top boxes. He also does freelance work on an incidental basis.

Husky's primary interests include the visual arts, (primarily indie) music, cinema, cooking, cycling, computers and going out with friends.
