Hussainpur is a census town in Kapurthala district in the Indian state of Punjab.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Hussainpur had a population of 15,343. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Hussainpur has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 75%. In Hussainpur, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
