Hussainabad is a town of Hyderabad city in Sindh, Pakistan near the Indus River. Its old name is Giddu Bandar. Asia's well known mental hospital is also here which is called Giddu Bandar.
Sindhi people are in the majority in Hussainabad. They speak the Sindhi language.
Hussainabad's most prominent place is Mehran Park which is ideal place for the Hyderabad's citizens to spend their free time and enjoy the fresh air near the Indus River (Sindhu Darya).
