• References, still. The impact section has not a single one.
• An aftermath section. Hazel no doubt spurred rebuilding along the coast (today that coastal area is quite developed).
• Longer intro.
• More on the damage in North Carolina.

Introduction says no US deaths, while section on North Carolina has a fatality statistic. Which is correct?

Are you sure abt. North Carolina being the northernmost landfall? Didn't a hurricane strike Providence Rhode Island around 1938 or so?--dunnhaupt 18:37, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

Yea, for a Category 4. The Rhode Island hurricane, or the New England Hurricane of 1938, was a Category 3. Hurricanehink (talk) 18:43, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
