Huruma

Huruma Flats is a residential estate located in the northeast of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. To get to Huruma from Nairobi's CBD you have to take a matatu plying route 46 or those that ply route 14 or route 32.It borders Kariobangi and Dandora to the East,Moi Airbase to the south,Mathare to the North and Eastleigh to the West.
For many years Huruma has wrongly been considered as a part of Eastlands.This is not the case.Huruma is the home of Kenyan talent where stars of all kinds have been born. In Huruma you will find the Kenyan street art vis-a-vis Nairobi hip-hop culture. You will find graffiti on almost every wall. One of the most outstanding of these graffiti is owned by the Ketche green.This masterpiece of art was done by Charles a.k.a Char-lay.
