Hurtigruten Group (OSE: HRG) is a Norwegian transport corporation with headquarters in Narvik, Norway. The group provides services within bus transport, car ferry transport, tourism in addition to operating the Coastal Express along the Norwegian Coast. The company is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange.

Hurtigruten Group is the result of a merger between the two previous operators of the Coastal Express, Ofotens og Vesteraalens Dampskibsselskab (OVDS) and Troms Fylkes Dampskibsselskap (TFDS). TFDS had its roots back to 1866 while OVDS had its roots back to 1868.

[edit] Bus
Hurtigruten Group owns 70,15% of TIRB, a Finnsnes based bus and truck company. TIRB also owns Tromsbuss and Ofotens Bilruter.
[edit] Coastal Express
Hurtigruten Group is the sole operator of the Coastal Express between Bergen and Kirkenes along the Norwegian Coast. A total of 11 ships operate the route. It also owns 50% of the short sea liner Nor Lines that among other things manages the cargo onboard the Coastal Express ships.

Two of the Coastal Express ships are now located in Antarctica operating as cruise ships between Antarctica and Chile. Hurtigruten Group is planning on acquiring one additional cruise for cruises in Greenland.

Hurtigruten Group operates a number of car ferries in Nordland, Troms, Finnmark and Møre og Romsdal.

The group owns a number of travel related companies, including two hotels in Bergen, the tour operator Spitsbergen Travel and a number of travel agencies domestically and abroad.
