Hurt (Self-Titled) (2000) The Consumation (2003)

Hurt (Self-Titled) is an independently released album from the band HURT. It was released 6 years before Vol. 1 and 3 years before The Consumation. This album was recorded with a different line-up of performers, except for vocalist J. Loren. This album is extremely rare, with only 800-1200 albums released.[1]

J. Loren retains sole credit for this album, with the exception of "Confession," which was programmed by Jonathan Minis.[2]

The song, "Unkind" is an early version of the song on Vol. 1. The songs, "Better", "Summers Lost", and "Abuse of SID" appear on Vol. 2. The song, "U-bleed" was re-recorded and renamed "UBleed" and appeared on The Blackmarket EP. The recorded version of the song "Yearn", an instrumental, has been played to open some of the bands live performances.

Recently, recordings of the album have appeared across MySpace without consent from the band.
