Hurricane Karl

The name Karl has been used for three tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean.
- 1980's Hurricane Karl - moved across the central Atlantic. No significant effects on land.
- 1998's Hurricane Karl - Travelled from north of Bermuda to near the Azores. No significant effects on land.
- 2004's Hurricane Karl - Formed in the mid-Atlantic and turned north, reached Category 4 strength in open water before hitting the Faroe Islands as an extratropical storm.
