Hurricane Bret

The name Bret has been used for five tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean.
- 1981's Tropical Storm Bret - made landfall in southern Maryland, no real damage.
- 1987's Tropical Storm Bret - short-lived storm, remained in the eastern Atlantic Ocean.
- 1993's Tropical Storm Bret - passed over Venezuela, killing 184.
- 1999's Hurricane Bret - strong Category 4 hurricane that hit south Texas, although damage was minimized as it hit a sparsely populated area.
- 2005's Tropical Storm Bret - short-lived storm, made landfall near Tuxpan, Veracruz, Mexico.
