External Links have been removed. Please refer to ongoing discussion about links in the topic.
To clarify, Wikipedia is not a Links Directory. The way that the system works means that the links contain no value for search engines. Any links should be directly attributable to something in the text i.e. you should have contributed to the article with information from the site (assuming you are the content copyright holder). If you are attempting to promote your own site, there are many sites that you can contribute your link to without being considered irrelevant, for Example...DMOZ.ORG
Please cease simply adding links.
[edit] Irrelevant Links
Please cease adding links to which a. have no content attributable to the content i.e. North East England Article and b. you have a vested interest in. Wikipedia is not the platform for harbouring links and is not a means to advertise on. For example, in an Encyclopedia would you expect to find under the heading batteries, an advert for Ever Ready?
By all means add links which have verifyable research on them but do not treat this platform as an advertising medium to your own ends. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.86.17.82 (talk) 14:05, 24 July 2007
[edit] Making baseless accusations
Please assume good faith, stay civil, and refrain from bandying around charged comments such as that at EA/R. Thank you. Adrian M. H. 21:48, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
