I'm not sure if this would belong in the article, but it's fun: During the height of the popularity of the Huntley-Brinkley report, Brinkley was in a restaurant in Cleveland (The Forum Cafeteria, IIRC), and, unusually, no one in the place seemed to pay him any attention. But when he was leaving, most of the patrons in the place said, in near unison, "Good night, David". ;Bear 02:55, 2004 Sep 5 (UTC) I'd include that along with the item that on their first night as co-anchors at CBS, (date unknown) Dan Rather and Connie Chung signed off with "Good night, Chet...Good night, David."
