This article seems more or less to be an advertisement for the ski area. The content about the ski area should be dramatically reduced, and there should be more about the mountain itself. -- Ithacagorges 02:59 Jul 18 2005 (UTC)

The information about the mountain seems to be mostly from http://www.huntermtn.com/about.html. Towel 21:02, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

This should be about the mountain, with the ski area as a subsection (or separate article as Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl, its legal name) and properly disambiguated as Hunter Mountain (New York) (there are plenty of other Hunter Mountains and Mount Hunters in the US]]. I've got some work to do. Daniel Case 23:01, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Having moved all the images to Commons, I think it's time to spin off the fire tower as a separate section per WP:NRHP. Any objections? If not, I will be doing this in a few days. Daniel Case 15:51, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
