Huntley Meadows Park is the largest park in Fairfax County, Virginia (1428 acres), located in the Hybla Valley area. In colonial times the park was part of George Mason's plantation. Historic Huntley, on the National Register of Historic Places, is nearby. The park features a visitor center, boardwalk wetland trail, wildlife observation platforms, interpretative trail system, and a hike-bike trail. The park is home to abundant wildlife. Dogue Creek skirts the western edge of the park, from which Barnyard Run forks into the park itself. The headwaters of Little Hunting Creek also lie within the park.
