Huntington High School is a four year, public secondary school located in Huntington, New York. It functions as the high school for the Huntington Union Free School District, serving students in Huntington. As of 2006, 1145 students were enrolled.

The Huntington Interscholastic Athletics Program has played an integral and important part in the Huntington community. Organized athletics in the Huntington School District dates back more than one hundred years. Students have won every possible honor bestowed on high school athletes since the introduction of organized athletics at Huntington High School.

Huntington Football Team:
- 2005 Long Island Champions
- 2004 Suffolk County Champions
Huntington Boys Basketball Team:
- 2005-2006 Class "A" Suffolk County Champions.
- League V Champions
- Led by captains John Lee and Troy Binford, as well as Jack Scott, Anthony Jiminez, Kevin O'Neil, and Dan Sturman.
The Huntington Boys' Lacrosse team:
- 2007 Long Island Class "B" Champions
- 2005 and 2006 NYS championship titles
- Ranked #1 in the country by InsideLacrosse
- A record of 46 straight wins since 2004
Huntington wrestling:
- Listed in the Long Island rankings by The Mat Slap, Jose Vasquez (2nd-96 lbs.), Stephan Riley (4th-112), Francisco Pereira (5th-112), Justin Giani (8th-130), Allan Hendrickson (6th-160) and Dashaun Thomas (7th- 215).
- All-county 2007, Jose Vasquez, Francisco Pereira, Stephan Riley, Matthew Vickers.
Huntington Boys Tennis
- 2002 Suffolk County Champions
- 2007 League II Champions
Huntington Boys' Swimming:
- Sean Sullivan has climbed to the top of the national swim rankings for his age division and broke one of Olympic star Michael Phelp’s age group records.
Huntington Girls' Cross-Country:
- At a Bethpage Nassau Coaches Invitational, the team placed first in 2006.
Huntington Girls Soccer
- 1994 State Champions and Ranked #1 in the Nation
Huntington Highsteppers:
- Highsteppers are a regional and national award winning Kickline/Dance team.

The school readily supports the Arts program placed, and hence enjoys several achievements from its participants.
Achievements include:
- Trevor Smith grabbed first place, Kean Ferin was second and Charlotte Laurie finished third, propelling Huntington to a clean sweep of the top three spots Suffolk Country Arts Leader Association contest in 2007.
- Several winners in the HART 2007 competition.
- A talented competitive marching band that competes in the NYSFBC. Their 2 month season ends with a final championship performance at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, NY.
