Hungry Horse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hungry Horse is a food-led brand of public houses operated by Greene King. It can be compared to Beefeater or Brewers Fayre. Hungry Horse pubs are found mainly in the South, Midlands and East of England.
Originally it's focus was on large meals (called big plate specials) at low prices, however recent menus have switched focus on more reasonable sized portions. In 2008, plans to refresh the Hungry Horse brand begun, focusing on healthier meals in refurbished pubs [1].
