Humes High School

L. C. Humes High School, better known as simply Humes High School, was a high school located in Memphis, Tennessee. It was open from the 1930s through 1967 as a high school and is most remembered as Elvis Presley's High School. Elvis graduated from Humes on June 14, 1953. The site of the school is now a Registered Historical Site due to the Elvis connection. Currently the building is being used as Humes Middle School.
