Human (band)

HUMAN is a Kiwi death metal / grindcore band from Christchurch, New Zealand. Formed in 1992, the band is lead by Scott Spatcher Harrison (Vox/Guitars), Vaughn Richardson (Vox/Bass), Kezz Brewster (Guitars) and Paul Harrison (Drums).

Human formed in a one-room bedsit in the inner city area of Christchurch, New Zealand. The band was founded by brothers Paul (drums) and Scott Harrison (bass) and friend Nathan Ballard (vocals and guitar). The band recorded a 3 song demo titled "Organ Splatters" and entered into New Zealand's metal scene. Soon after formation, Scott switched to playing the lead guitar with friend Vaughn Richardson coming in to play bass.

After hundreds of shows, several television appearances, tours, recordings, line-up changes and music videos, Human stands today as one of the only metal band to hold their style and sound intact.^{[citation needed]}
