Hum Hain Rahin Pyaar Ke (Hindi: हम हैं राही प्यार के, Urdu: ہم ہے رہِ پیار کے, translation: We Are Travellers on the Path of Love) is a 1992 Bollywood film directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Tahir Hussain and with a musical score by Nadeem-Shravan. It stars Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla. The film fetched the Filmfare Best Actress Trophy for Juhi Chawla, and its director Mahesh Bhatt, 1994 National Film Award - Special Jury Award.

Rahul Malhotra (Aamir Khan) is the manager of the heavily in debt family business. He is also the guardian of his dead sister's mischievous kids, Sunny, Munni, and Vicky. One night, the children bring home Vaiyjanti (Juhi Chawla). Rahul hires her as the children's governess. Mr. Bignani's (the person to whom Rahul's factory is in debt) daughter, Maya loves Rahul and tells her father to have Rahul marry her. But Vaiyjanti and Rahul fall in love, and true love conquers all! The house is safe, Mr. Bignani's order has been executed, and Rahul gets married to Vaiyjanti!

Based partially on the English movie Houseboat starring Cary Grant and Sophia Loren.

  • The song Munny plays just right after Rahul(Khan) leaves the kids with Vaijayanti(Chawla) is from Aamir Khan's own early film Dil.
  • Shahrukh Khan took the years Filmfare Best Actor Award for Baazigar.
  • The song Ghunghat Ke Aad Se Dil Barkha made Alka Yagnik a much more common household name.
  • The youngest of the 3 children is a younger Kunal Khemu .
  • Juhi Chawla actually speaks Tamil dialogues in the film...something which she learnt a little bit, and recollected from her "Paruvaraagam" and "Nattukku oru Nallavan" days
  • Rumours have it that the film was partly co-written and directed by Aamir Khan.
