Hull Fair is one of Europe's largest travelling funfairs,[1] which comes to Hull, England for one week, (Friday, 12 noon - 12 midnight, to the following Saturday) towards the beginning of October each year. The fair is open every day between these days except Sunday. Unlike small local fairs, Hull fair (and others like it) attract rides and attractions from a wide variety of different showmen from around the country.

The fair is one of Hull's biggest traditions, and has become something many people visit annually. It is also one of Hull's oldest traditions having reached its 700th anniversary in 1993.

The fair is held on the site of Walton Street car park, next to West Park, the KC Stadium and the Gemtec Arena.
