[edit] The Iranian ayatollah with a hundred names

Hello! I've taken the liberty to merge the article you created, Sayyid Hossein Kazemeini Boroujerdi with my earlier one, Seyyed Hossein Kazemeyni Boroujerdi so that we have only one article on this person. Feel free to make any further amendments. For instance, I have no idea which of the many variants of the spelling of his name is the "right" one. Best, Sandstein 04:53, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Great work

I see you have done some great work. Keep it up! KazakhPol 03:49, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your username

Hi! I'm surprised no one has mentioned this to you before, but your username seems to violate our username policy, which prohibits "names that are recognised as slurs or insults". Would you be willing to request a name change at WP:CHU?--Kchase T 23:29, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Hipocrite - «Talk» 17:44, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Three Revert rule

Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Hipocrite - «Talk» 19:24, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Jamil Hussein controversy

An editor has nominated Jamil Hussein controversy, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jamil Hussein controversy and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. [edit] Refrain

Kindly refrain from unhelpful reverting. There's nothing wrong with the edit (in particular the wikilink) relative to the Abu Izzadeen article. Thanks. (Netscott) 19:41, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Sorry I see you didn't blanket revert... but saying simply "religion" is inaccurate. (Netscott) 19:46, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Hello again, if you haven't already done so you might read apostasy wherein it describes "formal renunciation" of one's religion=apostasizing. (Netscott) 20:12, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Four reverts in 24 hours

Hey Hugedummy, it is apparent that you are familiar with Wikipedia's three revert rule. Because this is the case then you are also probably aware that editors who perform more than 3 reverts in under 24 hours are subject to blocking.
I am thinking that you probably were not aware that you've fallen outside of the three revert rule because in one sense it feels like another day but you have as the following diffs illustrate:
Because I noticed that you are familiar with the three revert rule per User:Hipocrite's notice above I was initially inclined to just file a report on WP:AN3 and let the adminstrators decide what to do (likely block you).
I admit that I have been doing my fair share of reverting as well but I have been citing applicable policy in my reverting which you haven't been doing.
A part of the three revert rule allows for an editor such as yourself to avoid being blocked if they self-revert. So I am here in good faith to invite you to do that.
This offer of mine is particularly fair in that the reliable sources that have been cited are verifiably describing the word "deen" in his quote as "Muslim code of life" here and here.
I encourage you to self-revert now and therby avoid the potential of being blocked. Thanks. (Netscott) 20:36, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Abu Izzadeen

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

In the future, just contact me on my talkpage when you reach #3 and I will assist you. You and I frequently edit the same pages and usually from the same standpoint. KazakhPol 02:43, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
