I'm a 39 year old science teacher at a private school in Albany, Western Australia.
[edit] Wikipedia
I think Wikipedia is the bomb, a fantastic idea and resource that I personally use quite regularly. I was disappointed to find so little from my own region on Wikipedia that I knew I would have to start contributing my own articles. Articles that I have initiated or contributed to include:
Geographical
Australian Rules Football
Plants and Animals
Local
Politicians
Other
[edit] Chemistry
OK, I'm a science geek. Possibly the worst type of geek, who can talk Chemistry for hours on end. I have a personalised lab coat and a periodic table pillow. Barney refers to me as "The Alpha Nerd" and he's a IT person! I'm particularly fond of X-Ray Fluoresecence Spectrometry and Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion Theory. After reading this Penny says that I am very sad and should get out more.
[edit] Football
Football of all codes is great. I'm a big fan of Australian Rules Football (Saint Kilda in the AFL, Swan Districts in the WAFL and West Torrens in the SAFL), but I also follow soccer (Tottenham in the English Premier League , Stuttgart VfB in the Bundesliga and Perth Glory in the A-League). Rugby remains a bit of a mystery in many ways but I do enjoy watching the Wallabies play on TV as well as watching the State of Origin League games with Fully's expert commentary.
