[edit] Symphony No. 3

I need to go find the citation, but I believe the 3rd symphony received a remarkable number of performances in its inaugural year- or so it seemed to me (I was browsing issues of the Neue Zeitschrift für Musik and the composer's name, the work, and many different cities turned up during that same year in concert announcements.
