Huguley is an unincorporated census-designated place in Chambers County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 2,953.

Huguley is located at 32°50'16.811" North, 85°13'59.300" West (32.838003, -85.233139)[1].

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 8.8 square miles (22.7 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 2,953 people, 1,154 households, and 850 families residing in the community. The population density was 336.5 people per square mile (129.9/km²). There were 1,241 housing units at an average density of 141.4/sq mi (54.6/km²). The racial makeup of the community was 73.76% White, 25.16% Black or African American, 0.10% Native American, 0.07% Asian, 0.10% from other races, and 0.81% from two or more races. 1.02% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 1,154 households out of which 33.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.6% were married couples living together, 15.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.3% were non-families. 23.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.01.

In the community the population was spread out with 25.8% under the age of 18, 9.5% from 18 to 24, 28.5% from 25 to 44, 25.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 94.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.4 males.

The median income for a household in the community was $28,475, and the median income for a family was $33,015. Males had a median income of $27,826 versus $20,230 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $15,144. About 12.1% of families and 15.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 22.2% of those under age 18 and 15.1% of those age 65 or over.
