Hugo Rifkind

Hugo Rifkind (born 1977 in Edinburgh) is a British writer. He is the son of former Conservative Cabinet Minister and MP, Sir Malcolm Rifkind. He is a columnist for The Times, where he writes a diary column ('People') focusing on politicians, celebrities, and other well-known personalities; and has also worked as a freelance writer for other publications including the Evening Standard and the Herald. Additionally, he has worked in radio, for BBC Radio Scotland and BBC London.[1]
His debut novel, Overexposure, came out in August 2006. It is a satirical farce set in the London media world.
In May 2008 he debuted as one of the panelists on BBC Radio 4's satirical quiz show The News Quiz.
