Hugo McCord

Hugo McCord (1911-2004) was a preacher within the Churches of Christ in America. He produced his own translation of the New Testament, McCord's New Testament Translation of the Everlasting Gospel [1] [2].

McCord attended a number of schools: Freed-Hardeman College, the University of Illinois, the University of Tulsa, Virginia Seminary, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville), New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to serving as a preacher in a number of congregations, he taught at Oklahoma Christian College.
