Hugo Carreira

Hugo Carreira fullname Hugo Miguel Martins Carreira (born March 10, 1979 in Barreiro) is Portuguese football player. He started his career at local FC Barreirense, joining CD Nacional in Madeira in 2002-2003 and Estrela Amadora the following season, having played there ever since, as central defender. From 1997-01, he had a foreign experience with Spain's Deportivo La Coruña, appearing only for their B side. In 2001-02, incidentally, he was loaned to Estrela Amadora.
