Hugh Sullivan was a fictional character in the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away, played by Rodger Corser. He was a doctor at the Northern Districts hospital.
Hugh was in love with Rachel Armstrong, even though Rachel was married to Kim Hyde. After Hugh told Rachel he was in love with her, this contributed to the problems in Kim and Rachel's marriage. Hugh eventually became fed up with Rachel's indecision over who she wanted to be with and offered her an ultimatum, either she decided to be with him or he would move to South Africa to work. Although she loved Hugh, Rachel found the decision too difficult as it would sacrifice her marriage and therefore Hugh left for South Africa.
It was recently shown that Hugh left his address in South Africa with Martha MacKenzie who he previously shared the Diner flat with, but told her not to give his address to Rachel, because then he would know Kim left her and it would seem as though he was other man she could run to. He apparently arrived in South Africa safely and has settled in well.
