Hugh Scarlett, 7th Baron Abinger

Lieutenant-Colonel Hugh Richard Scarlett, 7th Baron Abinger, DSO (born 1878, died 1943) was another son of Lieutenant-Colonel Leopold James Yorke Campbell Scarlett.
The 7th Baron was a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery, and he fought in the Boer War in South Africa from 1900-1902. He served in World War I from 1914-1918 and was awarded the DSO.
He married Marjorie Ursula MacPhillany in 1913, and they had at least one son, James, who succeeded to the title upon his father's death.
