Hugh de Audley (1250 was a member of the Audley-Stanley family and the father of Hugh de Audley, 1st Earl of Gloucester

He was born in Audley in the English County of Staffordshire, the son of James of Aldithley (born c. 1225 in Audley, Staffordshire) and Ela Longspee (daughter of William II Longespee, and his great great grandfather was therefore Henry II, King of England.

He married Isolda de Mortimer, the daughter of Hugh de Mortimer, grandson of Llywelyn the Great by whom he had a daughter, Alice de Audley (born c. 1304 in England), who married Ralph Fitzrobert de Greystoke and later, in 1326, Sir Ralph de Neville. He also had two sons, John and Hugh, who became 1st Earl of Gloucester.
