The Huddersfield and District Association League is a football competition based around Huddersfield, England. It was founded in 1898. The league has a total of four senior divisions and four reserve divisions. The highest senior division, Division One, sits at level 14 of the English football league system and is a feeder to the West Riding League. The reserve divisions are not part of the league system.

[edit] Barlow Cup

This cup is competed for by teams in the top two divisions. The cup was presented to the league in 1935, by league chairman Councillor Joseph Barlow. Scissett were the first winners.

[edit] Groom Cup

This cup is competed for by teams in the third, fourth and fifth divisions. The cup was presented to the league in 1952 by the trustees of the Holmfirth and District League. Lindley Church were the first winners.

[edit] Richardson Cup

The Cup is played for by teams in the first and second reserve divisions. The cup was purchased by the league in 1966/67 season and named after the then recently retired league secretary Mr Alf Richardson. Kirkburton were the first winners.

[edit] Gee Cup

The Cup is played for by teams in the third and fourth reserve divisions. It was purchased by the league in honour of the then retiring president Aldernan John T Gee MBE. In its first season 1978/79 the winners were Milnsbridge YMCA.

Former League Vice-President Sir Amos Brook Hirst (OBE) served as Chairman of the FA from 1941–1955.[12]
