Hubris Productions is a Chicago based theater company founded in 2005 Jacob Christopher Green, Patricia Savieo, Anthony Guerrero and Amanda Lucas. Hubris's inaugural production was Christopher Durang's [Laughing Wild] at the Cornservatory in Lincoln Park. For this production they were given permission by the play write to rework parts of the script in order to change the play setting from New York City to Chicago.

In 2006 Hubris Productions began a partnership with Center on Halsted. Together they will work to inspire Chicago youth to continue their education through the arts.

In 2008 Hubris Productions is proud to present the World Premier stage productions of the award-winning film Girls Will Be Girls.

Hubris Productions will engage, challenge and inspire our community to acknowledge the diversity in the world around us. Through our education and outreach programs, new play development and main stage productions, we will create an ongoing dialogue about social inclusiveness
