I don't know about a good site, but if you find a good amount about his family or his great achievements I would really appreciate it. Thanks. spoiledblondebaby@yahoo.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.221.169.250 (talk • contribs) 21 March 2005
<sarcasm on>It is always lovely to see that there are still students so lazy that they can't even be bothered to use their own damn search engines, much less the public library (which, contrary to public belief, was not automatically burned down upon the invention of the Internet).<sarcasm off>
Seriously, this page is for discussion of the present article on Mr. de Givenchy, so it would be far more appropriate to provide whatever sources one already has found and discuss whatever questions are preventing one from simply being bold and adding the appropriate "outstanding amount of information" oneself. Alternatively, I sometimes raise the questions that I would like to see addressed in the article, then explain why I don't do it myself, if applicable, so as to encourage development of articles when I'm not in a position to develop them myself. This isn't a custom-made-homework service, but rather, an encyclopedia. Lawikitejana 19:42, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hubert de Givenchy in 1952.gif

Image:Hubert de Givenchy in 1952.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
