please update if you know where his medal is publicly displayed (see below) It is possibly on display in a Hotel in Cardiff, if anyone knows which one that would be great!

My Uncle, Hubert 'Stokey' Lewis's VC was purchased privately at an auction in 1994. During that period I was in talks with the Regimental Museum at Cardiff Castle in an attempt to pursuade them to put in a bid. This failed and I was told that it had been sold to a Hotelier in Cardiff, but alas I do not know which hotel it was. I was also led to believe that it was on display there.
