After reading a book recently on Tito I found out that Butler came under enormous criticism within Ireland for his reporting on the acts of the Croatian clergy and their complicity in war crimes. Especially in relation to the hysteria surrounding Archbishop Stephinac's imprisonment by the Yugoslavian government.
