The Huallanca District is one of 10 districts in the Huaylas Province in the Ancash Region of Peru. The capital of the district is the town of Huallanca[1].

The district was founded in 1950 by separating it from the Huaylas District. It has one of the most beautiful sites in the whole entire world and the people that live there are the nicest.

The district is located in the north-eastern part of the province in the black mountains (Spanish: Cordillera Negra).
