Hua Xin

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Hua (華).

Hua Xin (157 - 231) was an adviser under the Chinese warlord Cao Cao. He was originally a minister under the Han Dynasty's court who switched to serving under Sun Ce, and then later on to Cao Cao. During the novel, Hua Xin pressured Emperor Xian to abdicate the throne to that of Cao Cao's son, Cao Pi. However, the role that Hua Xin played in history is supposedly much different. In history Hua Xing was a minister over letters of Wei.
