Huércal-Overa is a municipality of Almería province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain, located near the border with the province of Murcia.

In the last few years, this town (which is the second biggest town in the province with 16,000 inhabitants) is becoming a favourite target spot both for European and Latin American immigrants.

Huércal-Overa is situated in the Valley of Almanzora and its main economic sources have to do with agricultural activities.
