Hi
My name is Suresh Ramasubramanian
I just spent a few hours converting an old, unupdated static html personal website to mediawiki and updating it, so I'll just point you to http://www.hserus.net
More about me
My day job is that of manager, antispam ops at Outblaze, a large email and spam filtering provider with over 40 million users, and I spend a significant part of my spare time as coordinator of APCAUCE, which is a volunteer antispam org focused on antispam public policy and training in the Asia Pacific region.
Since 2002, I've been a member of a committee organized by the Free Software Foundation, that meets once a year to decide the winner of the FSF Award for the Advancement of Free Software and the Free Software Award for Projects of Social Benefit
I travel a lot, as a regular speaker and organizer of antispam conferences organized by the ITU, OECD, APEC TEL etc as well as several ISP conferences like MAAWG and APRICOT. I'm on the management committee at APRICOT since 2004, and am currently its vice-chair, as well as on the board of directors of APIA, the coordinating body that runs the APRICOT conference.
Over the years, I've been interviewed on spam stories by several newspapers and magazines, including Businessweek, the IHT, Wired magazine, Salon.com, the WSJ, CNN etc. More media coverage on my website.
