Hrušica (Jesenice)

Hrušica is a settlement 3 km west of Jesenice by the main road towards Kranjska Gora in the Jesenice municipality in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.

It lies at an altitude of 613 m. Its population according to the 2002 census[1] is 1843.

In 1906 the 7976 m long two rail track Karavanke railway tunnel was built at Hrušica and in 1991 the 7864 m long road tunnel was completed.
