Hrochoť (Hungarian: Horhát) is a village and municipality of the Banská Bystrica District in the Banská Bystrica Region of Slovakia

In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1424. In 1479 it obtained many privileges by Hungarian Kings. From 16th to 19th century it belonged to Zvolen.
